I have not been fishing in the last week due to a dove hunt and the weather. The dove hunt (a limit of 15 with 21 shots) was great but opportunities to fish were slim. Could have fished on Nelson street coming out of Does, see picture.
15 out of 21 is great shooting. Morning or Afternoon? 12 or 20 Ga.? Once went on a hunt with Bud Alford from Grace at Mr. Touchberry’s(back in college). Back then, it was afternoon only. Mr. Touchberry used to have his field hands keep the doves out of the selected field all A.M. The doves were really hungry come noon. Shot 12 out of 21 with a 20ga. Limit back then the limit was 12. Those were the good ole days. You could take your best shot only.
